Fall Riding Programs
We offer a variety of specialized riding programs at JC Eventing, from intro to horseback riding sessions, to ladies' nights, to intensive training sessions. See below for what we are offering this fall!
Intro to Horseback Riding
Join us for a five week session to introduce the basics of horseback riding! This session is for children aged 5-14 years old. No prior riding experience is necessary, helmets will be provided.
This program meets Wednesdays from 5pm-6:30pm. Riders will be split into two groups based on age and experience level. Groups will split their time between a 45 minute riding lesson learning all the basics of stopping, steering, walking and trotting and 45 minutes of unmounted education in the barn learning how to groom and handle the horses as well as age appropriate discussions of anatomy, horse health, and more!
Fall Session 1 will run September 3rd, September 10th, September 17th, September 24th, October 1st
Fall Session 2 will run October 8th, October 15th, October 22nd, October 29th, November 5th
Sessions are $350 per rider.
We are only accepting a maximum of 10 riders per session in order to make sure that each child receives individual attention, so don't miss out on reserving your spot today!
Ladies' night
Join us for a fun and relaxing Friday night escape! This experience is designed for adult horse lovers of all experience levels, from complete beginners to those who have taken a break from riding and want to get back into it to seasoned equestrians.
Ladies' Nights are held on Friday evenings from 6:30pm-8pm. Each session includes a 45 minute group riding lesson with a fun and unique topic from gymkhana games to obstacle courses to musical flatwork and more. Lessons will be tailored to all experience levels.
After the lesson, enjoy a 45 minute demonstration on rotating topics including equine massage, first aid, nutrition, saddle fitting, evaluating conformation, what to look for when horse shopping, and more. Wine, soda, and light snacks will be provided as well.
Ladies Night sessions are available in four week sessions for $375 per person, but drop-ins are welcome each week as space allows for $100 per night.
September Session: September 5th, September 12th, September 19th, September 26th
October Session: October 3rd, October 10th, October 17th, October 24th
